5. Dig a Level Trench
- Within a 5 minutes timeframe, dig a level 3 foot trench as long as possible.
- Safety: underground utilities, spoil pile placement (any dirt placed too close to the trench will show red and must be cleaned up to obtain a score), trench curvature
6. Pick and Place A Trench Box
- Manage the weight of payload with consideration for load limits.
- Respond to hand signals.
- Place a payload blind into a trench.
- Safety: load limits, swinging loads
7. Pick and Place A Pipe
- Maneuver a short pipe and place it within a trench box.
- Respond to hand signals.
- Safety: working around people, swinging loads, collisions
8. Load onto a Low-Boy Trailer
- Load, stow and unload an excavator from a trailer.
