StarFire™ Receiver
The StarFire receiver makes current precision farming operations more precise - and makes future precision farming operations possible. The StarFire Position Receiver uses a 10-channel engine to track as many as 10 satellites at once. This is the accuracy you need to take advantage of the new GreenStar AutoTrac Assisted Steering System, Parallel Tracking, Field Doc, and future map-based prescription programs.
Choose the level of accuracy you require; three accuracy options help you meet today's needs and to position yourself for future requirements.
SF2 Differential Correction:
The SF2 Differential Correction signal option is the most accurate, reliable signal on the market today. Pass to pass accuracy of this signal option is +/- 4 inches.
SF1 Differential Correction:
The SF1 Differential Correction signal option is also an accurate and reliable signal. Both the SF2 and SF1 signals are provided by John Deere. Pass to pass accuracy of this signal option is +/- 13 inches. You can always upgrade the signal to obtain SF2 accuracy without having to replace the receiver.
WAAS Accuracy:
The basic receiver option works with the U.S. government's Wide-Area Augmentation System (WAAS), a no-cost differential correction system. It's the minimum threshold for precision farming systems. However, John Deere cannot guarantee the performance or availability of the WAAS signal.
