I used my GreenStar Guidance System on my 35-foot disk to disk in my wheat stubble. I then used the system on my 49-foot Fallow Master. I was also able to utilize my AutoTrac system with my pull type sprayer at 10.5 miles an hour and drill wheat at 6 miles an hour. The system is working beautiful and I wouldn’t do without it.

I had a GreenStar Guidance System installed on my 8410T and used the system to plant my corn with a 24 row planter. I then moved the system over to a 9400T and pulled a 40-ft. John Deere Air Seeder with a 1900 commodity cart for drilling my beans. The main advantage of AutoTrac is that at the end of the day, I was not fatigued at all from driving. I would liken the experience to driving 600-700 miles in a car in one day. Usually the driver is tired and wore out whereas the passenger is not. AutoTrac put me in the passenger seat rather than the driver's seat.
AutoTrac allowed me to make other management decisions that I would not be able to normally make while steering the vehicle because of the concentration required to steer the vehicle. In the past I have not ran after dark very often. With AutoTrac I was able to run 2-4 hours after dark everyday. I had a 20% productivity increase for every 4 to 5 days we operated. We would literally gain a day in production within a week's time frame. We definitely could have doubled our acreage in beans and corn this year, thanks to AutoTrac.
