Getting the most from John Deere Equipment

Two New Special Edition Gator™ XUVs for 2009

What's more fun than a Gator XUV 620i? Well, just maybe, a new Special Edition Gator XUV decked out in one of its two new colors—Midnight Black or Metallic Silver. "There's a growing group of outdoor enthusiasts interested in custom vehicles," says Kevin Lund, John Deere product marketing manager. "These new Gators offer a unique look and can be further customized to meet customer needs."

Outer beauty. The Metallic Silver Edition includes automotive-quality paint on the hood, fenders, cargo box, and tailgate. The Midnight Black model features a carbon-fiber pattern that is professionally applied on the hood and steering wheel cover through the exclusive Final Finish® process. It also sports premium, high-gloss black fenders with mold-through color that resists marring and UV fading.

But the good looks don't stop with new colors. Both models feature sport seats, five-spoke alloy wheels, special edition name plate, and cool, billet aluminum controls. From there you can take over and outfit your Gator XUV with other accessories like adventure lights, heavy-duty brush guards, and a variety of windshield options. Your John Deere dealer can show you more than 100 different Gator XUV attachments and accessories.

Inner strength. Under these classy new colors, you'll still find the great features that have made the award-winning Gator XUV famous. There's impressive power with the two-cylinder, electronic fuel injected gasoline engine. You get quick starts, fast acceleration, and a top speed of 30 mph.

All that get-up-and-go really gets you places thanks to the on-demand 4-wheeldrive. And the ride is surprisingly smooth thanks to the independent rear suspension. The 7-inch suspension travel soaks up bumps while you get sure-footed control.

Midnight Black and Metallic Silver a bit too flashy for you? No problem. The Gator XUV is still available in the popular colors green and yellow, and olive and black.
