MachineFinder™ The New 65-105 HP 5M Series Tractors

The New 65-105 HP 5M Series Tractors

Whether you're a producer, ranch owner, landscape contractor, or governmental buyer ... if your jobs demand high power and long hours, look to the new 5M Series Utility Tractors from John Deere.

The 5M Series Tractors range from 65 - 105 engine horsepower. These higher-end machines feature new transmissions, increased lift capacities, more stability for larger implements, and a new operator environment for increased comfort and productivity.

"For customers who demand premium performance and comfort, the 5M Series is designed to be the benchmark for quality and durability in the utility tractor marketplace," says Rex Edmunds, division marketing manager, John Deere Augusta Works. "These tractors offer a vast array of options and horsepower levels, with exceptional hydraulic capacities to handle any utility-tractor implement."

"The 5M Series tractors will definitely bring more productivity to the farm or jobsite, which makes them ideal for customers who spend many hours in a tractor and depend on their tractor to help make their living. With more weight, a wet clutch design, and enhanced serviceability, these tractors provide dependable service for the tough jobs they're built to handle."

Configurations To Suit Any Use

Pick one of the five 5M models from 65 to 105 engine horsepower, and the choices have only begun. Four models are available in either 2WD or MFWD configuration (the 5105M comes in MFWD configuration only), to best address your property and applications. Choose from three different operator stations: the standard open station; the deluxe open station, swiveling seat and more; or the luxurious climate-controlled cab.

Shift To Higher Performance: 5M Transmission Options

To better accommodate the wide variety of potential users, the 5M Series Tractors are available with one of four transmissions. The 12/4 SyncShuttle™ Plus is a good choice for general usage, and for applications that don't involve excessive forward-reverse shuttle shifts. Or, choose from two 16/16 transmissions, one with SyncReverser™ (clutch required for shuttle shifts), one with PowrReverser™ (clutch not required for shuttle shifts). Finally, a 32/16 PowrReverser transmission offers the ultimate in speed choice and flexibility.

Lift Any Load with High-Capacity Hydraulics and Hitches

The 5M Series tractors are built to handle high-demand hydraulic applications like heavy-duty loader work, without sacrificing functionality of other hydraulically assisted operations like steering and braking. A dedicated primary pump puts out 6.3 GPM flow, and handles steering and braking, while up to 18.4 GPM flow provides hydraulic power for the implements. Dual-function mid and rear hydraulic remotes allow attachment of a variety of implements; triple-function remotes are available as an option.

To handle large rear implements typical of commercial and public applications, we gave 5M Series two rear hitch lift ratings: you can choose from 4,944 and 6,178 pounds, depending on your needs. Plus, the available field-installed front hitch provides an additional 2,500 pounds of lift capacity.

Oil-Cooled Clutches for Improved Reliability

And because your livelihood depends on your ability to get in, do the job, and move on, we gave the 5M Series features like wet traction and PTO clutches to improve reliability and increase service intervals. You'll notice cooler, smoother operation, with fewer replacements over the life of the tractor.

More configurations and options, more efficient hydraulics, more lift capacity, more performance and reliability features, and a durable frame specifically designed for loaders ... they all help ensure that the 5M Series will perform for years on the job or in the field.
