Planting & Seeding
Alfalfa, corn, beans, cotton, rice, wheat, canola, milo, small grains, vegetables…no-till, conservation till, or conventional till fields….no matter what you grow or your tillage practices, you’ll find a seeding solution from John Deere that can make a measurable difference in the ultimate success of your crop. Learn why producers across North America rely on high-precision John Deere row-crop planters, air seeders, and box drills to make their stand.

New for 2009!

The 1720 Stack-fold Planter now includes industry-leading Central Commodity System (CCS) technology. This enhancement reduces the time needed to fill the planter with seed, maximizing the time spent in the field planting.

For growers looking for the productivity of a bulk fill planter with the flexibility to plant 15- or 30-inch rows, the DB60 Split-Row Planter with a 47-row 15-inch and 24-row 30-inch configuration is now available. This new configuration of the DB60 machine is recommended for the grower who wants to plant one crop at conventional row spacing of 30 inches and a second crop at 15 inches, such as soybeans.
