John Deere and Louis Nagel B.V. look back upon a 50yr. partnership

In 2008, John Deere and Louis Nagel B.V. of the Netherlands look back upon a 50 year distribution partnership on the Dutch market. To celebrate this longstanding partnership, the John Deere distributor invited his dealers to an extended weekend trip, including a stopover at the John Deere Forum in Mannheim. Louis Nagel and its 28 dealers in the Netherlands sell agricultural equipment, commercial and consumer equipment and John Deere engines to Dutch customers. With more than 1,200 John Deere tractors sold in the Netherlands in 2007, Nagel holds a domestic market share of 23.8 %. For 2011, the entire Dutch dealer network strives for 30 % market share on agricultural products. “Currently, we are taking big steps in the dealer development to further enhance our competence and to achieve even higher levels of customer satisfaction” says John Deere International division sales manager Dirk Berning. “As an organization, we must understand, that the Dutch market is very technology oriented and thus of opinion leading nature also for other regions” adds Berning.
