John Deere presents 7030 E Premium tractor at Austrian „Agritronica“

Presentation of the E Premium Series at the Agritronica The presentation of the new John Deere 7030 E Premium series tractor was one of the highlights at this year’s “Agritronica” event at the Academy for Agricultural Education in St. Florian, Austria. Along the lines of the symposium’s theme “The Transport Challenge in Agriculture”, Roland Forster, Product Line Manager of John Deere International, presented the innovative E-Premium series to an audience of approx. 300 attendees and explained the practical benefits of the E Premium concept to farmers and contractors. Productivity and efficiency increases associated with the E Premium concept were recognized by the audience and fostered John Deere’s image as technology leader.

“John Deere has established itself as the brand of choice for all different kinds of customers in Austria”, said Frank Wynands, JDIN Territory Manager for Austria and Slovenia. “Large arable farmers and contractors will truly appreciate the competitive advantage of the E Premium in terms of fuel savings and increased productivity”. The presentation also caught some outside media attention. Thus, the Austrian “Bauernzeitung” wrote about “…a new chapter in the history of agricultural machinery” and quotes Roland Forster’s statement that “electrical drives mean more flexibility, higher precision and improved operator comfort”. Individual discussions after the event reflected that Austrian customers fully understood the impact of this advanced technology. ”Considerable fuel cost savings and less hassle in this regard compared to using plant oil, etc. will increase the demand for the new E-Premium series tractors” believes Forster.
