Models in the 1400 and 1500 Series have a tighter turning radius than conventional front mowers and come equipped with turning brakes allowing for zero-degree turns. Like a zero-turning-radius mower, with a 72-inch deck, you never have to worry about the machine rear striking objects.

Every 1400 Series mower is available with mechanical 4WD and the 1565 comes standard with it. Curbs, bumps and steep inclines are no match for this axle-based drive system. Unlike hydraulic wheel motors, it keeps climbing until an obstacle is overcome. These machines' innovative frame design also allows components (such as the engine) to be placed closer to the ground for a low center of gravity. More impressively: A dual tire option can enhance this already exceptional equilibrium.
