For almost 20 years, John Deere has been offering work placements to sandwich course students from its partner university, Harper Adams University College. The programme runs every year and typically offers around 10 or 15 places. Successful candidates generally join the company for six months, gaining invaluable real-life experience in a modern company. Placements are available at various locations throughout Europe in diverse fields, including:

And what about the John Deere scholarship?
The scholarship we offer is a bonus package that is awarded to the student that John Deere considers to have performed best during his/her work placement. The selected student will receive:

a one-off payment of £1000 towards final year study costs

a guaranteed job offer following graduation

a payment of £2000 for three years at the end of each full year of employment following graduation to help pay off student debts
