A commitment to excellence through training.
The courses available at the John Deere Training Centre are primarily for dealers, however a number of customer training courses are provided each year. These concentrate on Operation and Maintenance of the machines and are offered to all new purchasers of Combine Harvesters and Self Propelled Forage Harvesters, sessions on large Agricultural tractors and Golf & Turf products are also available. These training courses and others tailored specifically to individual customer's needs are arranged through your John Deere dealer.
The 26,000 square foot Training Centre is a part of the John Deere UK headquarters, pictured above, and has purpose built facilities which are outlined below:
Conference Room & Computer Training Facilities
A large conference room and computer training facilities are situated just off the reception area, these are used for various meetings and the ever increasing need to train on computer systems. They are fully air conditioned and feature state of the art back projection facilities for slides, video or computer images. The computer training room has facilities to operate 8 networked computers.
Classrooms & Workshops
In the Training Centre itself we have 5 classrooms and 4 large workshops. All the training rooms feature the same facilities as the conference / computer rooms.
The entire Training Centre is designed with the sole purpose of providing an environment in which delegates on any type of course can gain the most knowledge as efficiently as possible.
Parking & Canteen
In addition to the Training Centre facilities themselves, a large separate car park is provided with close access to the rear Training Centre door. A high quality cafeteria with 140 seating capacity serves a wide variety of hot and cold dishes and is available to all delegates. It is located directly above the training classrooms.
