PowerGard™ Repair & Maintenance Plans

Tractors

There are five different levels of cover available and they are:

Maintenance Plan:

  • Fixed price routine maintenance.
  • All services carried out by a fully trained John Deere dealer.
  • Enhanced reliability from expert maintenance checks every 250 hours.
  • Minimise your own labour and parts requirements.

PowerTrain Repair Plan:

  • Covers all major components, including engine, transmission and hydraulics.
  • Covers all repairs except those caused by accident, abuse, overload or neglect (i.e. insurable risks).
  • Customers must carry out their own maintenance using John Deere filters and fluids bought from the dealer.
  • Customers must keep invoice records and complete their Service Record Book.

PowerTrain Repair & Maintenance Plan:

  • Offers all the benefits of both the Maintenance Plan and the PowerTrain Repair Plan.
  • Repair cover costs less due to regular dealer inspections.

Full Repair Plan:

  • Full repair, better than an extended warranty.
  • All components are covered (except tyres & tracks), however large or small the repair.
  • All repairs that are not insurable risks are covered, allowing you to budget for the full operating costs of your machine.
  • More comprehensive cover than the PowerTrain Repair Plan.
  • Although tyres and tracks are not covered, they come with a full manufacturer's warranty.

Full Repair & Maintenance Plan:

  • Offers all the benefits of both Full Repair Plan and the Maintenance Plan.
  • Repair cover costs less due to regular dealer inspections.

Summary of benefits & cover
  • Choose any number of hours in 250 hour blocks.
  • Period of cover under all plans is your choice from 1000 to 5000 hours or a maximum or 5 years.
  • All plans can be included in a finance agreement if bought with a new machine (subject to acceptance by John Deere Credit).
  • Inflation proof parts and labour costs by investing upfront.
  • Fully stamped dealer Service Record Book enhances resale value.
  • No minimum or maximum claim.
  • Customers keep invoice records and complete their Service Record Book.
