PowerGard™ Repair & Maintenance Plans

Combines

Due to the nature of harvest work, we have developed a comprehensive, full cover plan, tailor made for combines and their users. The John Deere PowerGard Repair & Maintenance Plan for combines is available on a seasonal basis, regardless of the number of hours the machine is used. It enables you to budget accurately for machine running costs, not only per hour but also per hectare.

Combine harvesters are crucial to your business, if they stop working, so do you. When you are busy, it's easy to fall behind with the recommended maintenance procedures. It's also hard to plan for repair costs over the long term. Unexpected repairs and unforeseen costs can adversely affect your business cash flow, as well as your field work.

John Deere PowerGard takes care of your combines, so you can take care of your harvest and your business.

Maintenance:
The maintenance element includes the 100 hour first service and a comprehensive inspection and service after each working season, providing a full 10 hours' labour. This ensures that potential problems and failures are spotted before they become serious, which improves overall reliability, increases your satisfaction and enhances the resale value of your combine.

Repair:
As a repair plan this is much more than an extended warranty. Warranty covers only failures caused by faulty factory materials or workmanship: in this plan, repair covers any failure which is not an insurable risk or caused by the operator.

All components of the combine, cutting platform and John Deere manufactured attachments such as the chaff spreader and straw chopper are covered, except for certain parts susceptible to high rates of wear and damage, as clearly defined in the contract.
