Biodiesel fuel in John Deere engines - the future is here
John Deere has been studying the use of alternative fuels and lubricants since the late 1980s, and our Bio-Hy-Gard and Bio-Grease-Gard have established John Deere as a pioneer in the market for biodegradable transmission, hydraulic oils and lubricating greases based on renewable raw materials.
Biodiesel with EN 14214 specification blended with John Deere biodiesel Protect 100 can be used in all John Deere vehicles with Tier 3 PowerTech Plus and PowerTech E engines.
The same applies to older John Deere engines.
