An operator's & mechanic's dream.
Increased traction levels. Increased durability levels. Increased comfort levels. Decreased noise levels. That's the 3235C Turf System story in a nut shell. An impressive example of taking a revolutionary idea to a new level.
The system is still based on the same three green keeper suggested priorities.
-
One, that quality of cut is the most important criteria when it comes to lightweight fairway mowing.
-
Two, that a 22 inch wide cutting unit and its ability to follow ground contours is absolutely essential for delivering that quality of cut.
-
Industry leading operator comfort.
Features
Some of the features on the 3235C are:
-
State of the art RFS (Rotate For Service) cutting units giving unequalled service access. Cutting units rotate and present themselves for service - simply flip an unlocking spring and unlock a pin.
-
Sound levels have been significantly reduced. A servo-pump helps to reduce hydrostatic whine.
-
Micro-lap backlapping controls are standard (right). Simply pull out the knob to reverse oil flow, and "dial in" the desired reel speed.
-
Single lever lift is integrated with PTO management to make operation easier. A single touch backward, raises and shuts off the reels. A nudge forward lowers and re-engages them.
Cutting Unit Advantages
-
A superior mounting design moves the attaching point to the rear of the cutting unit. This helps to ensure that as the cutting unit rolls over the turf, there's balanced force over the front and rear rollers - which keeps the cutting unit level and in more solid contact with the ground.
-
Two ground hugging 22 inch cutting unit options ensure a high quality of cut on any type of grass or terrain.
-
The standard option features lighter 5 inch, 7 blade cutting units for delicate grasses. These units feature superior grass catching capabilities, thanks to new ball joint lift yokes and simple bedknife to reel adjustment.
-
The heavy duty ESP (Extra Strength and Precision) option features larger 5, 8 or 10 blade cutting units as well as a more powerful hydraulic motor to handle the tougher mowing conditions typically found in warm climate grasses.
-
Can be equipped with optional fairway tender conditioners and rear roller power brushes (as shown on the cutting units pictured). Both are gear driven for high durability.
-
Fairway tender conditioners improve grass clipping dispersion when mowing fairways, as they reduce thatch and surface debris, and the rear roller power brush keep the rear rollers free from material build-up.
-
Finally, hydraulic down pressure is built into every traction unit to help the cutting units better follow the ground contours.
-
An optional, adjustable down pressure system allows you to put even more weight over the cutting units. Another first class advantage that works without the extra springs, weights and other devices that get in the way of performance and service.
Comfort & Service
-
The Command Arm features controls for the throttle, cutting unit engagement and lift/lower lever conveniently located at the operator's finger tips.
-
Also located on the Command Arm control is a four function monitor. The monitor alerts the operator to the engine temperature, engine oil pressure, battery discharge and hydraulic oil temperature.
-
The seat delivers lumbar and side support, and is mounted lower to put the operator in a more comfortable and secure position.
-
Simple service access is integrated into the design of every John Deere machine.
-
The seat flips forward and the hood opens so you can easily check or work on engines and other drive-train components.
