Reliable
It keeps mowing and mowing and mowing...
Probably the most important advance the 1600 Turbo represents is in the reliability department. After all, heavy duty mowers this large are meant for just that: heavy, continuous duty. From a welded, tubular C-channel frame to an innovative, impact absorbing system, the 1600 is more than ready to go the distance.
It keeps mowing and mowing and mowing...

Top-Draw Air Intake System

Top-Draw Air Intake System
Like anything radical, it’s pretty cool.
The first of its kind, the top-draw air intake system keeps the 1600 Turbo cutting and cool. Even in tough, dry and hot conditions.
Air is drawn from the top of the machine instead of the rear—keeping the radiator clear and the engine from overheating (common in machines this size.) So even after hours and hours of continuous operation, grass can expect only one thing: no mercy.

Impact AbsorPtion System

Impact AbsorPtion System
We don't let you take the hit.
Although visibility from the raised operator’s seat is excellent and the wing decks allow extraordinary folding flexibility, there is always a chance a machine this size could run into an obstacle like a tree or kerb.
That’s why our engineers developed superior impact absorPtion system that allows wing decks to move rearward when coming into contact with an obstruction to prevent possible damage.

Serviceability

Serviceability
Daily service? A breeze.
Every regular service checkpoint and fluid fill is easily accessible from the left side of the machine. The bonnet and seat platform both open for quick access to the engine and drivetrain.
The front deck raises 70 degrees and the wing decks raise 90 degrees for easy access. No tools are required to access the mower deck belts.
To top all this, diagnostics are simplified with LED lights and a “heartbeat.”
