Wasted Time & Chemicals?
Think of the time and chemical you waste when you clean out the spray system ... or when you start spraying a field for the first time? After the sprayer has been cleaned with rinse water and the tank is refilled with chemical again, this has to be purged out from spraylines on the headland before chemical reaches all nozzles.
Effective Treatment
The headland can get an excessive dose of chemical with burnt patches and environmental contamination being the result. The first part of the field is often not effectively treated, which can be seen later with triangles of weeds or disease occurring in the field.
Vacuum Recirculation
John Deere has been thinking about it too. That's why we developed the new vacuum recirculation system (VRS). This remarkable system speeds and simplifies cleanout and lets you begin spraying upon entering a field. No need to waste chemical at the headlands while you wait for the spraying system to charge.
-
The Vacuum Recirculation System allows liquid to circulate through the pipework, section valves and spraylines without spraying from the nozzles.
-
The liquid is circulated past the nozzle in the opposite direction when spraying is stopped.
-
The system works automatically whenever the pump is running and the main shut-off valve is switched off.
-
A venturi device causes a vacuum in the spray lines, so the liquid is drawn from the tank through the spray lines and back into the tank.
-
Simple, dependable and cost effective, it's just one more reason why a John Deere trailed sprayer is your best choice for more productive, cost effective application.
