Polyethylene Tank
-
The polyethylene tank is smooth and easy to clean for less chance of contamination.
-
The geometry improves the stability and weight distribution.
-
The steep profile and deep sump boost spraying performance on steep slopes and allow the tank to be emptied completely.
-
The tank walls are 12mm thick, ensuring durability and strength.
Agitation
-
The design of the tank without any dead corners ensures perfect agitation and cleaning.
-
Agitation is performed with high pressure hydro injectors at the bottom of the tank. Additional return flow of the pump achieves a homogenous spraying solution.
-
The agitation can be switched off manually or electrically (option) from the cab to prevent foaming and to empty the tank completely.
Filling
-
You can fill the sprayer quickly with the sprayer's self priming piston diaphragm pump or with an external pump through a separate filling connection with quick couplers.
-
With the optional electronic tank level control, the desired filling level can be set and as soon as the tank is full an audible alarm will sound or the filling valve will be closed automatically.
-
Filling is more accurate and remnants are prevented. A single pump with 280 l/min capacity is standard. for larger booms, or as an option, two pumps - each with 230 l/min capacity are available.
-
The first pump is used for spraying, the second for agitation. Both can be used together to fill the sprayer.
Rinse Tank & Chemical Inductor
-
A huge 400 litre rinse tank sits underneath the solution tank at the front of the frame. This allows easy filling, lowers the centre of gravity and improves weight transfer to the tractor to reduce pulling requirements.
-
The large 60 litre chemical inductor swings out easily, providing quick access.
-
Agrochemicals in various formulas can be put into the reservoir from the ground and are directly mixed with water. Risky climbing exercises are history.
-
An injector sucks the solution directly to the basket strainer into the solution tank without passing through the pump.
-
The vessel cleaner ensures that even the last remnants are removed from the packaging. Just place the container over the rinse head and push down.
Electronic Spray Rate Controller
-
All John Deere trailed sprayers have an electronic spray rate controller as standard equipment.
-
Spray controllers are available with pressure sensor, flow sensor or both. Pressure based regulation offers the highest accuracy when spraying with low volumes: flow based regulation is easier to use with liquid fertiliser.
-
If you use both sensors, you have a double check and a very versatile sprayer.
Master Section Valves
-
The Master section valves are electrically operated.
-
Stainless sectional ball valves are integrated into the boom and provide instant start/shutoff of individual boom sections within 0.25 seconds. This prevents missed spray acres, eliminates overlaps and conserves chemical.
