Chassis, Suspension, Tyres

Durable, Heavy Duty Chassis
Chassis
  • A massive chassis provides a solid foundation for big capacity solution tanks and wide spray booms.
  • The chassis is made to withstand the toughest field conditions and high speed road transport of up to a homologated 50km/h with fully loaded tanks.
  • The design of the sprayer is short and compact to allow sharp turning and accurate trailing but the centre of gravity is low enough to provide high stability when spraying on hills.

Heavy Duty Axles
Sliding Axle
  • Large heavy duty axles with drum brakes offer years of trouble free spraying.
  • Different types of axle are available to tailor the track width of the sprayer to different row spacings or tramline systems.
  • With the fixed axle you can change the tread from 1.50 to 1.80m by changing the wheels between left and right.
  • Sliding axles offer a stepless adjustment of track width from 1.50 to 2m or from 1.72 to 2.25m.
  • All sprayers can be equipped with either hydraulic or pneumatic brakes.

Tyres
  • Large tyre options expand your spraying season, improve timeliness and let you get into your fields earlier and spray less costly chemicals.
  • Row crop tyres are now available up to a huge 54 inch wheel diameter giving you less soil compaction, less wheel-ins and more clearance.
  • For the ultimate in floatation, you can fit floatation tyres up to 650mm wide. Ideal for spraying potatoes or anywhere tramlines are employed. With these tyres you can spray in the wettest conditions.
  • All wheels, rims and discs are welded together for maximum strength and durability.
  • Optional mudguards for row crop or flotation tyres protect the sprayer and nozzles from dirt and allow safe road transport.

Suspension
Double Link Suspension
  • For smoother and faster road transport, as well as absorbing shocks in the field, the sprayer can be equipped with the new optional double link suspension.
  • Bear in mind that axle suspension for sprayers must be particularly versatile to cope with both full and empty load situations.
  • Sophisticated polyurethane dampers with micro air chambers offer superb performance and don't require any maintenance at all.
  • Complicated height regulation systems for the axle are not required since the change of travel between full and empty load is very short. It's simple and reliable but still offers unmatched absorption of heavy shocks.
  • Since the double link suspension only allows vertical axle movement, the sprayer will not lean on corners or on hillsides. What's more, the boom will always remain parallel to the field.
  • With double link suspension your sprayer runs smoother on the road and in the field with less stress applied to your machine. This means more comfort, more productivity and a longer sprayer life.

800 Series Trailed Sprayer, in Transit
  • There is also a high speed transport option for those who spend a lot of time moving from one field to another. It lets you transport at speeds up to a homologated 40 or 50 km/h with fully loaded tanks, if allowed.
  • The high speed option includes (depending on sprayer type) heavier axles, wheels and tyres as well as enhanced braking.
