Pour on the productivity with a John Deere Combine.

Engine power and performance has long been a hallmark of John Deere engineering, but these power plants surpass anything you have ever seen in a combine.

9880 STS Combine: The most power available to handle the most demanding jobs.

12.5L STS Engine
  • The 12.5L POWERTECH engine delivers 465hp at 2100 rpm for efficient combustion, excellent fuel economy and long engine life.
  • The engine's torque characteristics are the secret behind John Deere's Extra Power. More torque is generated as the engine speed is pulled down under load.
  • An additional 34hp is also available whilst unloading the grain tank.
  • The simple drive system features fewer belts and chains, improving reliability.

9780 CTS Combine: Enormous power. Simple, dependable drives. Narrow Transport.

8.1L CTS Engine
  • The 6 cylinder, turbocharged, air-to-air aftercooled, 8.1L engine produces 336hp at 2100 rpm, plus the additional 34hp available during grain tank unloading.
  • An electronic engine governor ensures steep torque rise to maintain your pace in tough spots, or to prevent stalling from sudden overloads.
  • Despite its enormous engine power and remarkable capacity, the 9780 CTS features an overall transport width of less than 3.3m wide (with 650/75R32 front tyres).

9000 WTS Combine Series: Power grain faster from the field to the trailer.

WTS Combine
  • Every member of the line has the heart of a true winner...a rugged, dependable, fuel-efficient John Deere 6.8 or 8.1L engine.
  • These POWERTECH engines generate extra power when the the going gets tough. But they're engineered to maximize fuel economy – consumption is extremely low.
  • Torque curves are matched to the engine application. Electronically controlled engines provide up to 7 percent extra horsepower to maintain capacity in tough conditions.

1450 or 1550 Combine Series: Conquer tough conditions and hilly terrain with reliable power.

SlopeMaster
  • Thanks to the 180 and 210*/225hp engines, these 1450 and 1550 Combines will never meet a field they can't tame. The turbo-charged engines are built by John Deere specifically to handle rigorous agricultural applications. (*Machines without straw chopper).
  • The standard SlopeMaster cleaning shoe cuts grain losses significantly on hills and contours.

Hydrostatic Drive
  • A powerful hydrostatic drive gives you smooth speed control, effortless speed changes and helps you to adapt quickly to changing harvest conditions.
