Round Baler Belts

John Deere 3-ply forming belts are made of a combination of nylon and polyester fabric.
The weave pattern provides:

  • Strength to handle greater shock loads.
  • Power to withstand a greater break force.
  • Consistent belt length throughout its lifetime.
  • Durability for extended operation and longer belt life.

The diamond-tread surface of the belt provides friction to aid in quick core formation for tight, dense bales. The tread is self-cleaning, reduces slipping and chaffing. The depth of the diamond-tread surface is an indicator of the wear level of the belts.

Layer

1. Diamond-tread designs grips crop like no other belt.

2. Four special rubber protective mats seal in the separate layers of polyester / nylon fabric.

3. Nylon fabric in the center runs longitudinally to prevent stretching under heavy load.

4. Flat inside layer glides smoothly over rollers without heat build-up.

5. A third layer of polyester/nylon is layered with protective rubber on each side. All layers are vulcanized in a special calendering process.

6. First layer of polyester/nylon fabric adds unbelievable strength to the belts carcass.
