Screensaver Detailed Help

Create a folder on your hard drive or desktop to save your downloaded screen savers to.

Choose save the program to disk.

Save in a folder you created for downloads or on your desktop.

Use a zip program to unzip the file. We use PKWARE's pkzip program. Another good one you can use is WINZIP. Both have downloadable shareware programs you can try.

Double click on the screen saver icon that you saved in your folder or on the desktop

The screensaver self extracts and opens as your default screen saver. Once you have unzipped your screen saver and double clicked on the screen saver icon:

Choose OK to install the file

This is the name of your screensaver file. Choose OK
You will then see this screen which is the name of the screen saver, for example: Farmers and Ranchers.
This is also the name of the screen saver in your control panel/display/screen saver section of your computer.

Choose OK

Once you have downloaded a Screen Saver:

The screen saver is now your default screen saver. If you would prefer this not to be your default screensaver you may go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/Display Properties and select one you would prefer. Select the screen saver from the drop down list and preview the screen saver. When you have selected the screen saver you would like choose "Apply" or "OK". Another option is to set the minutes you computer will sit idle until the screen saver begins

Choose Apply and OK

Enjoy your new screen savers!!
