Farol Harvest Team keeps you going

“Since taking on the John Deere franchise in 2004, we are now selling around 15 new combines and more than 230 tractors a year,” said dealer principal Matt Vellacott. “The Farol Harvest Team launch is about taking our combine sales and service onto the next level and raising our profile as a truly specialist harvesting business.”

Every John Deere combine undergoes a full pre-delivery inspection by factory trained technicians, who complete a 269 point checklist and all the necessary pre-season calibrations, as well as building up and adjusting the header.

To ensure everything goes smoothly right from the start of harvest, a second visit is made to talk through the in-field set-up and provide some tips and tricks to optimise output.

In addition to Farol’s 31 John Deere trained field service technicians across their four branches, the business employs 12 fully trained parts staff who manage over £1.8 million worth of parts in stock at the dealership, with 24/7 parts availability and breakdown cover during the harvest season.

“The motto of Farols Harvest Team is ‘we keep you going’,” added sales director David Gregory. “We annually invest more than £50,000 in staff training and specialist tooling. Combine this with the advanced technology in John Deere’s latest combine harvester range, and overall we are committed to delivering the highest possible levels of service and support, as well as better value, to our customers.”
