Lawn tractor features all-wheel steer

X534 Lawn Tractor

John Deere’s latest X Series lawn tractor is an all-wheel steer version of the X540 Multi-Terrain model launched in 2006. All-wheel steering provides greater manoeuvrability and effortless trimming around garden features, without having to continually reverse.

The new X534 is powered by a 25hp Kawasaki twin-cylinder air-cooled engine, and features an automatic transmission with easy to use TwinTouch foot controls and cruise control as standard. Foot-operated traction assist and power steering also provide effortless automotive-like control of the tractor.

This model retains the iTorque Power System, a combination of engine features designed to provide more power and performance, including extra towing ability, better engine cooling and durability, easier starting and smoother operation. The system’s bonnet design also directs noise and hot air away from the operator.

There is a choice of 122 and 137cm (48 and 54in) Edge Xtra mid-mounted rotary cutting decks, with easily adjustable cutting heights from 25 to 102mm (1 to 4in). The Edge cutting system is easily converted between side discharge, mulching and material collection.

Additional operator friendly features on this model include a hydraulic lift control on the dashboard for quick, easy and precise fingertip operation of the mower deck. Options include front-mounted blades and brooms.
