New John Deere equipment on show at LAMMA ‘07

LAMMA Several new machines from the ranges launched by John Deere last September are making their UK show debut at the Newark Showground this week (January 17 and 18, 2007).

These include the award winning 330hp 8530 tractor, which was recently chosen as the 2007 ‘Tractor of the Year’. This was the fifth major European product award in 12 months for John Deere’s 8030 Series tractors, following an Agritechnica gold medal in Germany, the Techagro Grand Prix in the Czech Republic, the 2006 ‘Diesel of the Year’ in Italy and the FIMA innovation award in Spain.

Other new 30 Series tractors on display include the 220hp 7930, 180hp 7530 with new ISO-Bus ready 832i trailed sprayer, 165hp 7430 equipped with new 753 front loader, 155hp 6930 and 110hp 6330 with new 592 Premium variable chamber round baler.

This latest generation of fuel efficient tractors from John Deere combines new Tier 3 engine technology with Intelligent Power Management, field proven features and numerous ergonomic improvements. The unique Intelligent Power Management system generates extra engine power for pto and transport applications – up to an additional 30hp depending on the model range.

The latest 9880i STS Hillmaster combine harvester, the highest capacity self-levelling combine in the world, is also being exhibited at LAMMA ’07, equipped with the new Premium Flow all-crop cutting platform. This can be adapted in less than 10 minutes to handle oilseed rape, providing more harvesting capacity in this crop without the need to fit a rape extension.
