Optimizing production and performance
The Timbermatic 300™ is a new centralized, digital control system for the harvester head, timber measurement and base machine control functions. The Timbermatic 300 is an easy to use PC/Windows™ 2000 based system that integrates the harvester head measuring and control system with TMC™ (Total Machine Control) functions through CAN bus.
With a choice of manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic settings the Timbermatic 300™ helps operators to optimize wood usage with features including full tree prediction and value optimization (price, distribution, and limitation matrices). The system features integrated control for stump treatment, color marking and electronic calipers. Work and repair statistics can also be analyzed. With e-mail and GPS capability, the Timbermatic 300™ keeps the harvester up to date with mill requirements and location information, and the contractor with production and performance figures.
