With the Timberjack 3000™, timber can be processed to customer order at the stump, significantly enhancing productivity and profitability of harvesting. Optimized processing of the trunk is based on price and priority lists. Many highly automated functions are possible including automatic sawblade control, automatic pressure adjustment of the delimbing knives and automatic harvester head tilt-up.
The system also allows easy monitoring of the harvested volumes and species, and two-way real-time data transfer is possible between the harvester and the forest company.
The Timberjack 3000™ is a modular system based on a CAN bus. Data is transferred in digital form between the various models, significantly reducing the risk of errors. A modular structure and reduced cabling further enhance the reliability of the system.
If desired, settings can be customized before delivery to meet the specific needs of the logging contractor and the operator. Harvesting parameters are easy to change, and the system is simple to expand and update.
