Dual purpose design from thinnings to regeneration harvesting
The new John Deere 1070D Eco III is a mid-sized harvester designed to offer owners a real choice of applications, from later thinnings to regeneration harvesting of all but the largest diameter trees. According to customer's specification, the 1070D Eco III comes equipped with one of three harvesting heads. The 742 has an exceptional power to weight ratio and a 47 cm felling diameter, the 745 has four wheel drive and maximum felling diameter of 55 cm. The 752 with its robust design, powerful feed motors and 55 cm felling diameter is ideal for regeneration harvesting.
