EQUITANA Melbourne’s Managing Director, Mr Rod Lockwood is delighted to have John Deere involved with EQUITANA Melbourne in 2010, “We are very pleased that John Deere has come on board as an event partner for EQUITANA Melbourne. EQUITANA Melbourne is the largest equestrian event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere so to have a world renowned company such as John Deere now involved both within the exhibition and with the supply of machinery to the event, it is the perfect fit for both ourselves and John Deere”

As the ”Official Machinery Supplier” to the event, John Deere will provide EQUITANA Melbourne with the use of John Deere Gators and Tractors. The Gators will be used to assist staff travel around the EQUITANA precinct and the Tractors will be used for all arena maintenance and resurfacing.

The John Deere Pavilion will be home to approximately 100 exhibition booths as well as the John Deere Arena which will host a number of informative and exciting education sessions on a wide range of equine topics.

EQUITANA Melbourne expects over 55,000 patrons to go through the John Deere Pavilion during the event, visiting the John Deere exhibition booth and watching education sessions at the John Deere Arena throughout the 4 days of the event.

John Deere will also have agricultural displays along the Grand Boulevard outside their Pavilion enhancing visitor interaction during the event. This will allow patrons to see the machinery up close and personal.
