John Deere Toys Unaffected by Recent Lead Paint Issues

John Deere Toys

September 14, 2007 - In recent months there has been increased media attention centred on toys manufactured in China. Many of these toys do not meet Australian Standards due to the level of lead found in the paint. Lead is toxic and can pose a serious health risk.

After investigations, it has been confirmed this issue does not affect any John Deere toys sold through the John Deere dealer network. All John Deere toys have successfully passed testing to Australian / New Zealand standards ISO 8124 or internationally accepted equivalent testing standards.
