New Tier III compliant engines
The all-new 6030/7030 Series Tractors from Mannheim feature PowerTech Plus™ engine design which uses the latest technology to deliver more power, usable torque and to provide maximum fuel efficiency. John Deere was able to achieve Tier III regulation without impacting the fuel consumption whilst increasing the performance characteristics of these all new engines. The Tier III compatible 4-valve common rail Diesel engines of the PowerTech Plus™ series are equipped with a variable geometry turbocharger for better fuel efficiency and engine responsiveness. Improved airflow and combustion efficiency are provided by four valves per cylinder in combination with a cooled Exhaust Gas recirculation system for today’s cleaner emission requirements which does not impact the efficiency of the engine.

Intelligent Power Management
All 6030 and 7030 Series Premium Tractors are available with Intelligent Power Management which results in additional power in PTO and transport applications.

The Intelligent Power Management system is a unique feature providing additional engine hp for transport and non-stationary PTO applications. Depending on tractor range, it adds up to as much as 18 additional kilowatts (25 hp). The additional power resource is provided during non-stationary rear PTO applications while the tractor is moving and the PTO system detects a load. For activation during transport application, travel speed must be above 14 km/h, before the additional engine performance becomes active.

Optional Glass Roof Hatch

New look and enhanced operator comfort
A number of styling changes outside and operator interfaces in the cab will enhance the operator comfort and thus help the customer to increase the productivity of his machine. A new bonnet contour line gives the bonnet a narrower look and feel to the operator, whilst providing a common family look well known from the Waterloo 7000 and 8000 Series Tractors. Apart from perfect styling, the Xenon working lights provide more light flexibility, better visibility at night and allow longer working hours with less operator fatigue.

The cabs of the new 6030 and 7030 Series Tractors are featuring an entirely new interior design. Dashboard, right hand console and left hand storage room come in new lighter colours and improved outlines. The seat has a deeper base cushion to provide the driver a luxurious working environment. For easier reach from the steering wheel, the left hand reverser is integrated into the newly designed dashboard, just like the windshield wiper lever and the direction indicator which is now self-cancelling like in a car. To provide the driver in every position a perfect view on the instrument panel, the whole dashboard is now telescopic moveable.

The new one-piece, right hand console provides customers with the best ergonomically placed controls for a wide range of applications and different requirements, including the choice of between mechanical or electrical selective control valves (SCV) on the right hand side. PTO switches are now located directly in line and are at an easier location between other controls, the buttons for the Headland Management System (HMS) sequencing and the AutoTrac™ Assisted Steering System are also integrated into the side of the Electronic hitch control pod.

The new CommandCenter™ on every 6030/7030 Premium Tractor is a combination of an Information centre and a setup Monitor in one big, fully coloured display. For frequently used functions such as the settings for the hitch, engine, transmission, HMS and SCVs the operator finds shortkeys on the control panel. Via the control panel, these settings can be easily changed. Those functions which are less often used are gathered in one menu page which can be accessed by pressing a menu button and by using a rotational dial.

Extra settings can be engaged via free programmable “Hotkeys” on top of the CommandCenter™. This can also serve as an information centre to display relevant machine data.

For instance for the operation of the Triple Link Suspension (TLS™), the operator can choose between three modes of operation, i.e. “Auto”, “Max” and “Manual” via the menu page. The new TLS™ Plus system automatically provides a progressive spring adjustment which actively provides automatic suspension reaction providing the best ride quality, under extreme conditions with greater traction.

7430 Premium Tractor

In the “Max” mode, maximum stiffness is achieved by raising the hydraulic pressure in the TLS™ system, an ideal solution for pallet work where accuracy in placement is imperative.

The tractor cab is mounted on new pivot bearings in the front and the rear suspension cylinders from the hydraulic cab suspension (HCS) have rubber ISO mounts integrated providing improved quietness for the operator. Thus, with 70.6 dBA in cab noise the new John Deere 6030 and 7030 Series cabs are the quietest in the market, making the 6030 a new “milestone of comfort”.

Unprecedented quality and comfort will also be provided by the new 6030 and 7030 Series CommandARM™ which integrates the IVT lever and the new right hand console. This will be an option code for the 6030 and 7030 Series together with the IVT transmission with electrical SCVs. A leather seat and leather steering wheel are also available as an option.

Other advanced comfort features are cup holders on the right console, new storage box on the left side this can also be ordered as an active cool box, an optional field office can be mounted above the storage box. Optional Automatic ClimaTrak™ temperature control with defog sensor or the electro mechanical temperature control EMTC which features a stepless blower control, as air conditioning or only as a heater.

New electrical architecture
A new electrical architecture helps to reduce the number of fuses and relays by 40% with the introduction of Power Modules. Harness routing has been changed to offer improved quality and maximum reliability with more protection and mounting brackets for better support.
