New Loaders available for John Deere Tractors

The Best Partner for your John Deere Tractor

February 19, 2007 - John Deere's front loader range has been completely updated for 2007 with the introduction of ten new 3 Series models, featuring lift heights up to 4.2 m and lift capacities up to 2.2 tonnes. For extra productivity and comfort, an exclusive feature on John Deere tractors with PowrQuad Plus™ and AutoQuad Plus™ transmissions, the operator can change gear using the loader joystick.

These new loaders have been designed as an integral feature of the new 6030 and 7030 Series tractors, but will also fit older John Deere models from 41 kW up to 134 kW (55 to 180 hp).

"The durable design of these loaders totally integrates with the tractor and provides better visibility and improved ease of operation." says Kevin Platz, Product Development Manager, John Deere Limited.

Each model has been designed using sophisticated computer technology

Each model has been designed using sophisticated computer technology to optimise the loader and tractor mounting frames, for increased reliability and to take advantage of high capacity hydraulics on modern tractors. A rigorous bench test is used to ensure the design can withstand the severest loads and shocks.

The geometry of the boom has been improved to provide better levelling accuracy and more precision for bucket work and pallet handling; it is safe and simple to handle pallets up to 4 metres high. Excellent visibility is also provided by the integrated tractor/loader design.

On Mechanical Self Levelling (MSL) models, John Deere’s new time-saving MemoSystem option remembers the attachment angle. During repetitive tasks, the operator can make the attachment return to a preset position by lowering the loader and pushing a switch on the joystick control.

In addition, for John Deere tractors without Triple Link Suspension (TLS™), an optional shock damping system is available to provide extra suspension and reduce stress on both loader and tractor.

Up to five hydraulic loader functions can be controlled from the tractor cab using a single lever joystick control, which can be floor-mounted or integrated with the right hand control console. Alternatively, an electro-hydraulic joystick control can be integrated with the seat armrest for precise, convenient loader operation, and can be swivelled downwards under the armrest when not in use.

Hydraulic Implement Unlatch Option

Standard features including a multi-coupler attachment, built-in parking stand and easy locking system plus a hydraulic implement unlatch option make the loaders and implements easy, quick and safe to attach and remove.

By consulting with their John Deere dealer, customers can choose the appropriate loader with enough standard features to get the job done right," explains Platz. "They can also choose from several new options to help increase their overall productivity, and add even more value to their tractor/loader package."
