Congratulations to the twelve teams who qualified to play in the Trans Tasman Team Championship Final for 2009. They earned their places after finishing first in their respective regional events, held throughout Australia and New Zealand. This year's final was held at Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club in Cairns, Far North Queensland from August 26 to 28.
With the revised competition completing its second year, the John Deere Trans Taman Competition is proving popular as can be evidenced by the increase of both John Deere dealers and golf clubs participating. The current scramble format is a hit with the players.
The competition provides an opportunity for dealers and golf clubs to build their relationships. This year's competition came down to two Victorian teams, with Safety Beach Golf Course securing first place, hotly followed by Riversdale Golf Course.
