Since 1998 the 7-Iron™ mower deck has demonstrated commercial quality, performance and durability. The 7-Iron II™ mower deck delivers an even higher quality cut in even more diverse conditions.

Its inspiration was the passion to build the best. The 7-Iron II™ commercial mower deck from John Deere is stamped from a single sheet of incredibly thick 7-gauge (4.5 mm) steel in a large press producing over 1.8 million kilograms of pressure to form a perfectly smooth and impossibly strong deck.

Available in 48, 54, 60 and 72 inch widths, and only from your local John Deere dealer.

• Deck is stamped from 7-gauge (4.5 mm) steel to minimise the number of welds and provide a smooth underside, with fewer sharp corners, for reduced material buildup
• No welds on the deck shell to wear or break - it is stamped from a single sheet of steel
• The rounded corners of the stamped deck help distribute impact stress to reduce the potential of damage when the mower contacts trees, rocks, curbs, and other fixed obstacles
• A deep-deck design of 140 mm delivers excellent airflow so material can be processed quickly and efficiently
• The wide-discharge opening provides even clipping dispersal for an excellent finished appearance in all conditions
• 25 mm cold-forged spindles are heat-treated for strength without bulk and are supported by ball bearings, providing reliability and performance; spindle housings are ribbed cast aluminum
• The front edge is raised above the blade plane to allow even cutting of tall grass
