Designed according to SAE standards, the hitches feature ample strength for various implement draft and lift capacities. All draft forces exerted during transport operations are absorbed through the full steel frame.
A single, easy-to-changeover PTO shaft allows for both 540 and 1000 rpm speeds. This makes standard PTO operations that require higher power easily attainable within a constant power range.
HITCH
A dual-cylinder rockshaft with one left-hand telescopic draft link and Category 2 hitch are standard equipment. These tractors are designed to accommodate heavy loads for higher lift capacity requirements.
Electrohydraulic hitch control
When you're tilling ground, planting seed, or spraying, time is money. With shorter planting seasons or additional ground to cover, the ergonomically-designed hitch command control console makes it easy to operate the hitch. Customers can be more productive and work more efficiently. The electrohydraulic hitch (EH) control is standard equipment.
The electrohydraulic hitch utilises electronic sensors to instantaneously relay information to the electronic hitch control module for fast, smooth, and accurate hitch corrections.
Automatic hitch dampening
John Deere's hitch dampening feature provides a smooth ride when transporting heavy hitch-mounted implements. Total system integration means the dampening system is automatically engaged whenever the rockshaft lever is moved into the transport lock position.
Features include:
-
Helps prevent tractor from pitching when travelling with raised implements
-
Activated by hitch control lever on EH hitch pod by placing lever in the raised-and-locked transport position. Whenever the hitch is lowered, hitch dampening is disengaged (raise/lower lever is not in the transport position).
-
Ensures operator comfort and less strain on tractor components.
-
Provides smooth tractor ride, even on bumpy field roads.
POWER TAKE-OFF (PTO)
Designed for a long, reliable life
The PTO contains a wet multi-disk clutch design, providing cooling and lubrication for a lifetime of operation.
The PTO has electrohydraulic-controlled modulation, ensuring smooth engagement. When the engine or PTO is stopped, a hydraulically-controlled brake avoids excessive implement over-running.
Reversible 540/1000 PTO stub shaft
You can easily switch between 540 and 1000 rpm driven implements simply by removing the stub shaft and reversing its position. The reversible 540/1000 PTO stub shaft is located in a dry cavity to allow changing from 540 to 1000 rpm or vice versa without any oil spillage.
