POWRQUAD™ TRANSMISSION:

The PowrQuad™16/16 transmission includes a Mechanical Left Hand Power Reverser and a Fully SynchroniSed Range Module with four ranges. The range shifter is positioned in an ergonomically place for a comfortable ride.

The 4 Speed PowrQuad Shifter is mounted on the right console. It allows a smooth power-shift on-the-go without clutching over a wide speed range of four gears.

For efficient loader work, the left hand reverser lever, located on the left side behind the steering wheel, helps the operator to work fast, precise and conveniently. Gear and range shifting is located on the right side console within easy reach of the operator. For added safety, the gear lever operates the standard parking lock.

In addition to the PowrQuad 16/16 it is possible to order an optional Underdrive which reduces the speeds from 1.5 up to 17 km/h.

The PowerQuad transmission features:

• The True Electronically Controlled Power Reverser located on the left side
• Single lever shifting with integrated push buttons to operate the 4 power shifting gears.
• High productivity with Automatic Speed Matching of the respective power shift gear when shifting through the fully synchronised ranges
• The 4-speed fully synchronized range lever on 16F/16R
• With the range lever, the basic speed range related to the specific application is selected.
• Speed change from range to range is ideal for fast acceleration or down-shifting during transport work.
• Fine-tuning of the ground speed to meet actual soil or crop conditions can easily be achieved on-the-go and under full load with the PowrQuad lever over 4 power-shiftable gears.
• In addition to the PowrQuad Plus 16/16 order an optional Underdrive which reduces the speeds from 1,5 up to 17 km/h

Rear PTO is electro-hydraulically switched with a switch on the right-hand console.

The electronically controlled valve ensures smooth modulated engagement for light as well as for heavy implements. Oil-cooled multi-disc clutches and brakes have wear-resistant linings that prevent expensive repairs through their long-life construction. The hydraulically controlled PTO brake avoids excessive implement over-running after the engine has been stopped.

• PTO Speeds - 540/540E/1000 rpm.
• The 540 and 1000 rpm speeds allow for standard PTO operations for higher power requirements within the constant power range.
• The 540E PTO achieves 540 rpm at very economical, but still powerful engine rpm and is excellently suited for low to medium power requirements such as mowing, spraying and fertiliser spreading.
• All shiftable PTO options have a reversible stubshaft with 6 and 21 splines.
