5020 Series Full Frame Tractors : Hydraulics

Pressure Compensated Hydraulic System

The 5020 Series tractors feature the pressure compensated hydraulic system up to 200 bar.

Since the system is load sensed, a valve on the pump immediately initiates pump flow, if required. The amount of flow from the pump exactly matches the constant or variable demand. When flow is no longer required, the pump returns to low pressure, no-flow stand-by mode.

5020 Series Full Frame Tractors - Hydraulics

To meet all requirements the 5020 Series Tractors may be specified with a 65 l/min. hydraulic pump.

The advantages of this system include:

  • Reduced load on engine
  • Improved fuel efficiency
  • Enhanced system oil cooling
  • Less strain on hoses and seals

ESSENTIAL SERVICES HAVE PRIORITY:

Pressure for active system is established by function requiring the highest pressure.

The hydraulic system and transmission systems are functionally separate; however, both systems utilise a common reservoir for easy serviceability.

Priority valving ensures-even at low idle engine speed - full power to the essential services, like

  • Steering
  • Hydraulic trailer brakes
  • A full flow charge pump avoids starving the main hydraulic pump and therefore coping with any conditions.
