The John Deere 5020 model tractors are powered by the fuel efficient PowerTech™ diesel engines.

These engines meet the Tier II emission levels without compromise, protecting our environment and reducing operating costs.

Powerful 4 cylinder engines provide up to 34% torque reserve and up to 2 kW (3 hp) extra power.

• The engine is integrated within the full frame and features the following:

• Maximum torque @ 1500 engine rpm.
• Constant power range - 460 rpm.
• Temperature controlled viscous drive fan.
• High ring piston with re-entrant bowl.
• Piston spray cooling.
• Self-tensioning, maintenance free poly-V-belt.
• The hood tilts back for easy access to the engine, radiator and engine air cleaner. A powerful gas strut positions it securely in place.
