9030 Series Tractors : Axle

The foundation of the 9030 Series Tractors begins with the massive three-section frame, rugged inboard planetary final drives, and cast iron gudgeon with optional greaseable tapered roller bearings. Each model can also be equipped with an optional hydraulic differential lock. The result is superior strength and durability, exceptional serviceability, and unprecedented turning radius.

Single Reduction Axle
Single Reduction Axle Inboard planetary final drives distribute axle loads evenly, to reduce stress on individual gears and shafts.

The single reduction gear axle is standard on the 9230, 9330, and 9430. (same type of axle used on the 9020 Series Tractors).

  • Provides longer life with less service and maintenance worries than outboard planetary systems
  • Provides a wide range of wheel tread settings and easy adjustability
  • Provides for infinite tyre and wheel adjustments with a variety of tyre sizes, row spacings, and ballast flexibility

Double Reduction Axle
Double Reduction Axle

The Double Reduction Axle is standard on the 9530 and 9630 only.

Provides all the attributes of a single reduction axle with the addition of:

  • Low sump, which decreases drag and provides more power to the ground.

Axle lubrication system features pressurised cooled and filtered oil for greater axle component reliability and service life.
