9020 Series Wheel and Track Tractors : Axle

Incredible final drive strength, smooth efficient power flow

9020 Series Tractor

WHEEL TRACTORS

The 4 Wheel Drive tractors feature Inboard planetary final drives distribute axle loads evenly to reduce stress on individual gears and shafts.

FEATURES:

  • Provides longer life with less service and maintenance.
  • Provides wide range of wheel tread settings and easy adjustability.
  • Axle lubrication system features pressurised cooled and filtered oil for greater axle component reliability and service life.
  • Axle dimensions:
  • 9120 and 9220—standard 100 mm diameter, 120-in. (3042 mm) length.(Not to be used in deep ripping or scraper operations).
  • 9120 and 9220—optional 110 mm diameter, 120-in. (3042 mm) length.
  • 9320, 9420—110 mm diameter, 120-in. (3042 mm) length.
  • 9520, 9620--120 mm diameter, 120-in. (3042 mm) length.
  • The electronic controls incorporated into the 9420, 9520 and 9620 Tractors provide many advantages over mechanical or manual system. One advantage allows John Deere to provide protection from drive train overloading. Drive train overloading can occur from extremely heavy ballast coupled with continuous full power loads in lower gears.

TRACK TRACTORS

9020T Series tractors feature outboard planetary final drives. Lubrication system features pressurized cooled and filtered oil for greater component reliability and service life.

FEATURES:

  • Outer axle bearings are internally oil lubricated rather than utilising external grease fittings.
  • 5-pinion planetary to handle large horsepower output.
  • Increased axle housing strength for deep ripping and scraper applications.
  • The electronic controls incorporated into the 9420T, 9520T and 9620T Tractor provide many advantages over mechanical or manual systems. One advantage allows John Deere to provide protection from drive train overloading. Drive train overloading can occur from extremely heavy ballast, coupled with continuous full power loads in gears with maximum speeds below 7.2 km/h ( 4.5 mph)
