8030 Series Tractors : Hitch and PTO

Double your productivity from end to end.

John Deere 8030 Series wheel tractors offer hitch, drawbar, and PTO options that meet a wide variety of customer needs with seven hitch options, three PTO options, and three drawbar options. Hitches have lift capacities up to 8,301 kg and drawbar vertical loads up to 4,890 kg.

Hitch features:

NEW Optional Hitch provides 8,301 kg cap. 3-point hitch (Cat. 4N/3) with convertible Quik-Coupler

8030 Series Tractor - Hitch & PTO

This dual-cylinder 3-point hitch provides 8,301 kg lift capacity and has ample lift capability to handle heavy implements with ease. John Deere hitch utilises electronic sensors to instantaneously relay information to the electronic hitch control module for fast, smooth, and accurate hitch corrections. Hitch controls and settings are conveniently located at the CommandCenter™. Hitch activation with raise/lower switch is located on the CommandARM™.

The optional front 3-point hitch can be factory installed on all 8030 Series tractors equipped with Independent Link Suspension (ILS™). This front hitch increases productivity by combining operations and making quick changeover from one farming operation to another.

Drawbar features:

Several drawbar options are available for farmers:

For medium sized 3-point hitch implements, such as row-crop cultivators or field cultivator type applications and typical drawn field implements such as a field cultivator or chisel plough an adjustable swinging Category 3 drawbar is available.

Applications for Category 4 drawbar include: large-sized, heavy-load drawn chisel ploughs, field implements such as large drawn planters, or maximum-loaded grain carts.

Category 4 drawbar and heavy duty support offer increased drawbar loading for items that place a large amount of vertical weight on the drawbar.

PTO features:
  • PTO drive system is designed to engage the implement easily, and fluently, to help avoid shearing pins and adding excessive wear on implement components. It also stops the implement with similar fluid movements for the same reason.
  • A single switch, colour coded yellow for quick and easy identification, gives you fingertip control and effortless operation of the PTO.
  • Maintain full PTO strength to handle even the most demanding implements in tough working conditions.
  • Operator presence warning system is standard equipment.
  • When PTO is engaged and operator leaves the seat, a horn will sound and PTO operating light will flash for 5 seconds and then stay on. Feature provides warning for operator.
