7030 Series Large Frame Tractors : Axle

7730 Tractor with 746 Loader

Tough row-crop conditions demand a strong, durable tractor. The 7030 Series Large-Frame Tractor frames are built of tough nodular cast iron for strength and reliability. It has been sculpted to allow the front wheels to "tuck under the frame." The chassis is constructed with a modular design that enables different options on the tractor.

TLS II with 12-bolt hub

There are two front axle options, depending on the model. The 1100 MFWD axle is optional with a 10-bolt hub on the 7630-7730 Tractors. When needed for demanding loader and field conditions, the 1150 axle with 12-bolt hubs is optional equipment on the 7630-7830 Tractors and is in base equipment of the 7930 Tractor. What's more, the Triple Link Suspension (TLS II) can be added to the 1150 axle to further increase traction and ride quality. The TLS II axle may include a hydraulic differential lock and hydraulic wet disk front brakes, both useful in heavy transport applications.

All of the tractors feature a rear axle that is 100 mm in diameter.

John Deere large row-crop tractors offer inboard differentials, massive heat-treated rack and pinion axles, and a sculpted frame to support specific market needs.
