John Deere 7030 Series Large-Frame Tractors deliver on these requirements with the reliable and field-proven 6.8 L (414 cu. in.) PowerTech Plus™ engine. The air-to-air aspiration engine deliver constant power over a wide range of RPM with a power bulge above rated power and excellent torque characteristics. The engine features a High-Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel system, is air-to-air intercooled, and factory-filled with B2 biodiesel.

The optional Intelligent Power Management will provide up to an additional 22 kW (30 hp) engine power for use in non-stationary rear-PTO applications and transport.
