7030 Series Small Frame Tractors : Transmissions

The 7030 Small Frame Series offer a variety of transmissions to fit your needs. For the first time, engines are matched to transmissions to allow producers to select the combination that best fits their application needs.

Designed for PowerTech™ E two-valve or PowerTech Plus™ four-valve engines. Get smooth gear changes, even under load. SoftShift integrates the engine in shifting operations, automatically adjusting engine throttle to create smooth shifts. It’s standard on both PowrQuad Plus™ and AutoQuad Plus™ Transmissions, for comfort nearly equal to an infinitely variable transmission. And for dedicated haulage chores, check out the 30 and 40 km/h package options.

PowrQuad™ 16F/16R 30 km/h is standard on 7030 Series Open Station tractors & PowrQuad Plus™ 16F/16R 30 km/h is standard on 7030 Series Cab tractors.

Designed for PowerTech Plus™ four-valve engines. Automatic shifting within range optimises productivity and reduces fuel consumption. It “reads” the throttle and engine rpm to upshift or downshift as needed. For example, it will upshift when the engine is over 2000 rpm and the throttle is at 85 percent.

AutoQuad PLUS™ 24F/24R 40 km/h is standard on 7130-7330 Premium Cab tractors. AutoQuad PLUS™ 20F/20R 40 km/h is standard on the 7430 Premium Cab tractor.

Designed for PowerTech Plus™ four-valve engines. 7030 Series Premium Tractors with IVT are incredibly simple to operate. There’s no complicated controls or joysticks. A single lever moves you smoothly from 0 to 40 km/h) . . . and any speed in between. Dial in a specific ground speed and the transmission and engine work together to keep the tractor there, instantly responding to changing load conditions. And you can customise the transmission’s performance with the push of a button and the turn of a dial – there’s nothing complicated about this!

The electronic left-hand reverser provides neutral-to-gear modulation, which allows a quick, convenient, and smooth forward-reverse shuttle shifting at any speed. The shifter must be lifted from either park or neutral position to forward or reverse to activate, and it is protected by a reverser lever guard to avoid unintentional engagement.

The left-hand reverser is also a great feature for loader tractors. The operator’s left hand can control tractor direction while the right hand can be used for loader joystick operation.

The reliable self-adjusting PermaClutch II™ main drive clutch features large diameter disks to provide ample surface area to transfer power effectively. Cooled and filtered oil services the clutch after each engagement to help prevent heat build-up. You get long-lasting performance and smooth modulated engagements.

For specialty producers like vegetable and orchard operations, creeper transmissions are available for the operations that need extremely slow speeds.

A factory installed creeper is available on PowerQuad Plus™ & AutoQuad Plus™ transmissions. IVT™ comes base-equipped with an integrated creeper mode. In order to access the creeper gears, the operator must pull a lever located immediately to the right of the operator, on the side of the right-hand console. By activating the creeper, the operator will be able to access an additional 12 forward and 12 reverse gears.
