7030 Series Small Frame Tractors : Serviceability

You depend on your equipment throughout the year to take care of your crops and do jobs around the farm. Performing proper servicing is crucial if you want a reliable machine that won’t break down in the middle of the season. However, we realise you don't want to spend half the day servicing each machine.

The 7030 Series Small Frame Tractors have been designed to reduce time and input costs that are associated with normal maintenance by increasing service intervals and providing easy access from the ground. If problems do occur, these tractors can be quickly diagnosed and repaired by your local dealership using Service ADVISOR™. By using this tool, the problem can be repaired faster, thus reducing labour rates and downtime.

Servicing your 6030 Series Specialty Cab Tractor is Easy

Servicing is now easier than ever. The hood tilts open 60 degrees with use of a conveniently located tab on the right front side of the tractor. Overriding the two gas struts permits the hood to open 90 degrees, allowing unencumbered engine access. The tilt-up hood provides easy access from the ground to:

  • Engine oil filter, check, and fill
  • Engine fuel filter
  • Coolant recovery tank
  • Radiator cleanout screens
  • Air cleaner
  • Front-mounted battery

Other great service features include:

  • The tilting cab design allows for easy access to the rear differential and transmission, greatly reducing the amount of time and money spent on repairs in this area.
  • On 7030 Premium Cab tractors the CommandCenter™ also provides help when it comes to servicing your tractor. First, it can help you keep track of your service intervals with its reprogrammable engine hour feature. Secondly, if a breakdown does occur, diagnostic codes can be viewed through the CommandCenter™. Repair time is decreased if the problem can be found this way before hooking up to Service ADVISOR™.
  • Vertical engine oil and fuel filters minimise spilling for cleaner and faster changes.
  • 500-hour service intervals for engine oil and filter, fuel filter, and cab air filter reduce maintenance costs over the life of the tractor.
  • Blowing out the radiator is no longer a chore with the 6030 Series Specialty Cab Tractors. Just pop the hood to clean out the radiator, fan, and screens.
  • The coolant recovery tank, located behind the air filter, is easily accessible from the ground.
  • The engine air filter is located under the front of the hood above the radiator. Undoing the Quik-Tatch™ fastener allows for fast and easy servicing - no tools required.
  • Just open the hood to access the battery. No tools are needed.
  • Instead of using a dipstick, the transmission/hydraulic oil level is checked with a sight glass on the rear axle housing.
  • The windshield washer tank is located on the right side of the tractor underneath the steps for easy refilling.
