7030 Series Small Frame Tractors : Hydraulics

All 7030 Series Cab tractors feature an open centre, pressure compensated hydraulic system . A 66 litre per minute main pump and an external gear/constant flow design are standard equipment. For 7030 Open Station & Premium Cab Tractors, a closed centre, pressure and flow compensated pump (axial piston pump) with 110 litres per minute of flow to the remotes and from 405 psi to 2900 psi of variable working pressure as base equipment.

Pressure for the entire system is established by the function requiring the highest pressure. As demand lessens, so does pump pressure and engine power requirements.

  • It operates at low standby pressure to save horsepower and fuel.
  • Priority valve provides full power when needed for steering and brakes.
  • It provides instant response (even when throttling back) for uninterrupted operation.
  • Differential lock is included within the transmission system.
  • It simplifies system diagnostics and provides faster service and increased uptime.
  • All functions return to sump, giving improved system performance, cooling and serviceability.

Selective Control Valves (SCV's)
Selective Control Valves

7030 Series Cab tractors are base equipped with a single mechanically actuated select control valve (SCV) with ISO breakaway couplers. 7030 Open Station & Premium Cab tractors are base equipped with two mechanically actuated select control valves with ISO breakaway couplers.

Valves are located at the rear of the tractor and positioned parallel to one another. The valve are repositioned permitting increased drawbar visibility over previous models.

The maximum number of rear mounted SCVs is four. They are positioned with numbers 1 and 2 on the left side of the rockshaft and priority valve with numbers 3 and 4 on the right side.

SCV's feature a four-position control:

  • 1) Neutral position - No hydraulic function
  • 2) Raise/ram extend/oil outflow through lower coupler
  • 3) Lower/ram retract/oil inflow through upper coupler
  • 4) Float position detent - Allows ram to extend or retract with gravity - ideal for implements to follow ground contours

Electrohydraulic controls

Further enhance your hydraulics, by choosing either 2- or 3- detent select control valves.

Electrohydraulic SCV controls can be equipped on any 7030 Series Premium Cab, regardless of transmission for fingertip control.
