7030 Premium Series Tractors : Axle

The John Deere full frame concept carries the load, while the power train transmits the power of the engine to the final drive.

Field proven full frame provides increased tractor strength, enabling higher payloads to be carried with optimised weight distribution. The long, durable, steel double frame acts as a strong back bone, and the engine and transmission can be designed to optimally perform rather than carrying the frame. Differentials and axles transmit the power to the ground, and they are designed for long years of reliability.

TLS™ Plus (Triple Link Suspension) is a true suspension system, so front wheels follow the ground contours. It absorbs bumps hydraulically instead of passing them to the frame and cab. You maintain better traction and increase pulling power. Plus, you can increase operating speed and comfort level. The improved TLS is equipped with three modes that can be selected through the CommandCenter™: Auto, Max and Manual.

  • Auto Mode uses frequency and position sensors for dynamic control in all conditions
  • Max Mode “stiffens” the front axle suspension when accuracy is required, such as front loader applications where pallet placement is important
  • Manual Mode enables full manual control of the suspension height for attaching front equipment
