7030 Premium Series Tractors : Operator's Station

7030 Premium Series Cab

Your first step into a new 7030 Premium Series tractor cab will tell you this is no ordinary operating environment. From the fit and finish to the soft-touch textured surfaces, you’ll appreciate the quality of your operator station. Go ahead – adjust the air suspension seat. Tilt and telescope the steering wheel (notice the instrument pod and left hand reverser stay with the wheel!). Dial in a desired temperature for automatic temperature control. Use the built-in cooler or conveniently placed cup-holder. On cold days, turn on the heated seat. And we haven’t even begun yet to describe the enhanced visibility, ergonomic controls, innovative CommandCenter™ or convenience of CommandArm™.

Modular cab design

The cab was specifically designed to provide operator protection, tight fit, and a quiet environment. This was achieved by a rigid frame of high-strength steel for roll-over protection. The doors, panels and glass have a precise fit to eliminate gaps or areas where insects, dust, dirt or moisture could penetrate. To eliminate vibrations to the cab, both the engine and the cab are mounted on rubber isolation mounts. These features ensure a clean and quiet cab environment.

Unobstructed visibility
Loader Visibility

Visibility to the front wheels is unobstructed because the 7030 Premium Series Cab tractors feature:

  • 1-piece front window
  • Narrow hood and cowl
  • Instrument panel is incorporated with steering column
  • Operator can see inside of wheels even with 1,524 mm (60 in.) tread setting
  • Tinted, curved windows provide extra visibility and reduce glare and light reflections
  • The large fully opening rear window aids visibility and allows access to external controls
  • Side and rear windows may all be opened to improve ventilation or to increase operator awareness of the external environment

Visibility to the side and rear:

  • Narrow fenders that do not hinder visibility
  • Large side windows
  • Redesigned right hand console, offering increased visibility

Improved visibility to rear implement, 3-point hitch, and drawbar:

  • Redesigned, improved hydraulic system allowing for increased drawbar visibility
  • Large, curved rear window
  • Optimal seat position
  • Integrated location of SCVs and couplers
