7020 Series Small Frame Tractors : Hitch

  • Category 2 or Category 3N/2, 3-point hitch with hitch dampening delivers high standard hitch lift capacity
  • Rockshaft with 3-point hitch is standard equipment on all 7020 Series row-crop tractors. Hitches have ample lift capacity to handle heavy implements with ease.

HITCH CATEGORY AND LIFT CAPACITY

  • 7220 - 7320 - Cat II - 3946 Kg (8700 lbs).
  • 7420 - 7520 - Cat IIIN/II - 4513 Kgs (9950 lbs).

HITCH DAMPENING

  • Hitch dampening standard on all models.
  • John Deere's hitch dampening feature provides a smooth ride when transporting heavy hitch-mounted implements. Total system integration means the dampening system is automatically engaged whenever the rockshaft lever is moved into the transport lock position.
  • Hitch dampening helps eliminate constant pitch normally associated with transporting heavy hitch-mounted implements
  • Saves wear and tear on hitch components as well as mounted implements.
  • Hitch becomes an integral part of the tractor suspension.
  • Provides smoother transport ride with 3-point-mounted implements.
  • Increases operator comfort.
  • Optional Laforge three-point hitches are available for 7020 Series tractors

ELECTRONIC HITCH CONTROL

  • Electronic hitch control improves operator productivity
  • Electrohydraulic hitch (EH) is standard equipment.
  • Utilises electronic sensors to instantaneously relay information to the electronic hitch control module for fast, smooth, and accurate hitch corrections.
  • Ergonomically designed hitch command control console makes it easy to operate the hitch.
  • External raise/lower switch is located on both rear fenders.
  • Makes it more convenient to hook up mounted implements.
  • Hitch movement is purposefully slow and hitch movement stops automatically if operator releases switch at any time.

QUIK-COUPLERS

  • Provide increased clearance between implement and tyres.
  • Allow fast and convenient hooking/unhooking of implements.
