John Deere 6030 Series Tractors feature seven different transmission options to help you make the most of your specific application. Simply choose the one best suited to your needs and operation.
SyncroPlus™ 12/4 Transmission
The SyncroPlus™ transmission has 12 forward speeds and 4 reverse speeds. Ranges and speeds are fully synchronised, allowing you to shift on-the-go. First and reverse gears are positioned in-line for easy forward/reverse shifting.
Power Reverser 16/16 Transmission
The Power Reverser transmission provides a working range of between 4 and 12 km/h, 7 speeds in the in the 30 km/h version, and 8 with the 40 km/h transmission.
For efficient loader work, the electric reverser lever, located on the left hand side behind the steering wheel, helps the operator to perform fast, precise and efficient. Gear changes and range shifting is located on the right hand side console within easy reach of the operator. For added safety, the gear lever operates the standard parking lock.
PowrQuad Plus™ Transmission
The PowrQuad Plus™ transmission is available in several different configurations:

24/24 PowrQuad Plus™ in 40 km/h^
The PowrQuad Plus™ transmission offers four power-shiftable speeds in each of the four fully synchronised ranges. All shifting between ranges can be done with the single lever range shuttle in combination with the clutch.
Using the range lever, the tractor can quickly be adapted to any application. Speed changes from range to range is ideal for fast acceleration or down-shifting during transport work. Fine-tuning of the ground speed to meet actual soil or crop conditions can easily be achieved on-the-go and under full load with the two buttons on the lever utilising the four power-shiftable gears.

Creeper Module Option
A creeper module is available as an option on all transmissions, except SyncroPlus™.

For 6130 - 6630 the slowest gear is down to 70 m/h at 1000 engine rpm.

For 6830 - 6930 the slowest gear is down to 120 m/h at 1000 engine rpm.
